Florian Müller-Stauch, General Manager of Müller+Müller
We would like to introduce ourselves and give you regular insights from our company. Today you will get some impressions of our machinery plant. 🔧
What characterises the work in production at Müller+Müller? We have modern production facilities with state-of-the-art technology and the highest quality standards. Clean and bright production halls and warehouses stand for pleasant working conditions. As a long-standing family business, "short routes", flat hierarchies and an open approach are also very important to us. 👍
Permanent employment contracts, long-term career prospects and pay above the standard rate are just as much a part of our offer as concrete further training programmes through our internal "training workshop". You can find more information about our job offers here on our website under "Career".

As a first step of the planned factory expansion, the reconstruction of the parking lot on the street "Weseraue" was started last week. In future, this area will serve as a new car park for the production staff.
Subsequently, the actual earthworks and foundation work for the new production hall will begin in mid-November.
We will continue to provide information here on the progress of the conversion measures and are very pleased that the construction work has now started.
This year Müller+Müller is hosting the Annual Meeting of DWK Life Sciences.
We will be welcoming colleagues from the USA, Mexico, England and our German sites and will be presenting our plant in Holzminden. Of course, the social and cultural aspect must not be forgotten and great contacts are made between the employees during workshops or the evening activities.
We are looking forward to more exciting days!
The Westfalen-Blatt and the Neue Westfälische reported at the beginning of October about the plant expansion and the associated increase in personnel at Müller+Müller.
Many thanks to the editors Michael Robrecht and Burkhard Battran for the great articles.
Neue Westfälische, 06.10.2021 Westfalenblatt, 06.10.2021
In the context of the plant expansion at Müller + Müller in Holzminden, at least 35 additional permanent jobs will be created in the production area.
The investment of around 15 million Euros includes up to 14 state-of-the-art production lines including the necessary clean rooms in a newly built production hall. For the company, this means new and long-term jobs, for which both machine operators and machine setters are being recruited. Further information on the job advertisements can be found in the career section:

We are looking forward to receiving meaningful applications and motivated support for our team.
Machine operators and machine setters are wanted in the course of the plant expansion.
Our management, works council and human resources department as well as the packaging department management presented Ms Petra Hein with a certificate of honour on 02.09.2021 for 40 years of employment and thanked her for her loyalty to the company and commitment over the past four decades. Mrs Hein has been working for Müller+Müller in the packaging/silicone department since 10.08.1981. We look forward to continuing our good cooperation and wish Mrs Hein all the best in her private and professional life.
This is an investment in increased compressed air supply, which is necessary for the expansion of the factory. At the same time, we will become more energy efficient and thus also reduce CO2 emissions. In recent weeks, our plant engineering department has been working very intensively with the trades involved to get the project ready for the start of production after the plant holidays. Another contribution by Müller + Müller to protecting the environment. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to Müller + Müller Betriebstechnik and the companies involved for their intensive work and the punctual realisation of the project.
Müller + Müller is investing in new production and storage capacities and is delighted with the decision for this forward-looking project. The start of construction for the new production hall and for the expansion of the storage areas at "Weseraue" site is planned for this year. The investment of €15 million is intended to respond to the development in the market for pharmaceutical packaging and to create up to 50 additional jobs in the long term.
The investment includes up to 14 new production lines at the highest technical level as well as a respective clean room. The new hall construction is to be completed by the end of the year, with the interior work to follow from January 2022. Several companies from the Holzminden region and southern Lower Saxony are involved in the plant expansion. As part of the international DWK Life Sciences Group, Müller + Müller is the headquarter for the Pharma Packaging division within the group and, with this expansion, is sending a clear signal for the Holzminden region and the strategic positioning of the company in a significant growth market.
In the context of the plant expansion, Müller+Müller is planning up to 50 additional permanent jobs in the production area. Respective job advertisements can already be found on the career portal of our website. We look forward to receiving your informative application.
The pictures below show one of two renovated production staff changing rooms. They provide employees with modern and high-quality comfort in our social area. We are very pleased with this successful investment, which should provide our employees with a pleasant start or end to the working day. Of course, all hygienic and corona-compliant standards are met.
Peter Matyssek, CDU mayoral candidate for Holzminden, and Ms Mareike Lotte Wulf, CDU member of the state parliament and candidate for the German Bundestag, visited our company and exchanged views with Managing Director Florian Müller-Stauch on current issues, future ideas for an attractive Holzminden and the importance of the Holzminden region as a strong business location.
After the talks, the production plant was presented during a factory tour and the technical processes of vial production were explained. We thank Mr Matyssek and Ms Wulf for the visit and the interesting exchange. We wish them both every success in the upcoming elections and look forward to further constructive dialogue.
